Plan for the Future
Downtown Core/Town Center Plan Update 2024
On Feb. 21, 2024, the Downtown Core/Town Center Plan Update was approved by the Queen Creek Town Council. The 2024 update focuses on Downtown Queen Creek and reaffirms many of the policies, goals, and strategies from 2017. In an effort to highlight the next recommendations and goals for the next five-years, a Priority Action Plan 2024-2029 was created. The recommendations within the action plan are categorized as lower, moderate, and higher priority. The priority levels, consider the level of impact, urgency, importance, and value of each recommendation.
Downtown Vibes
With more than $200 million in private investment and 230,000 square feet of commercial development currently underway including restaurants, retail, and mixed-use projects, downtown Queen Creek is entering a highly visible phase of transformation.
Downtown Vibes is designed to support current construction efforts, build excitement about the future of downtown, and highlight existing and upcoming amenities. The campaign will help residents and visitors stay informed by positioning construction as a sign of growth, opportunity, and long-term community investment.
The Downtown Vibes Campaign includes social media reels and posts shared across Town and partner channels to keep the community engaged and informed, a phased rollout of visuals in key strategic locations to reach pedestrians and drivers, and a mix of signage, swag, and other marketing materials.
