Main Employment Areas

Downtown Core

The focus of this area is to create a vibrant, active district in the heart of the Town Center that complements the culture and heritage of the community and provides a range of venues that celebrate all that is unique to Queen Creek.

Northern Tier- Major Employment

The Town recently annexed 4,140-acres of State Trust Land, generally located from Germann Road north to the future State Route 24 (which is slated to be complete in August 2022), and the CAP canal west to Meridian Road. In addition, there are industrial land opportunities south of Germann and east of Meridian Roads. The area is located in close proximity to the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. The Queen Creek ASLD Specific Plan and the North Specific Area Plan outlines a clear vision for the area.

Town Center

Town Center encompasses nearly 900 acres offering commercial, entertainment, and housing options. The Town Center is envisioned to be a vibrant community that serves as a gathering place for residents, and an economic engine for business development.

Southern Agritainment Area

The southeastern corner of the Town is home to two of the Town’s agritainment tourism destinations, the Queen Creek Olive Mill and Schnepf Farms. The South Specific Area Plan is focused on preserving and promoting growth for these special agritainment uses.

Power Road Corridor

The Town’s western boundary, the east side of Power Road, has retail opportunities available, and is home to Power Marketplace Business Park, a shovel-ready industrial park with available sites. The area is located just south of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and the Arizona State University–Polytechnic Campus.

Ironwood Road Corridor

The Town’s eastern boundary, the western side of Ironwood Road, has retail opportunities available, and is home to Banner Ironwood Medical Center and its new medical office building expansion.
